With the victory, Johnson Bayou advances its record to 16-8 on the year. The Rebels host Singer (Singer, LA) to meet the Hornets in a C District 5 battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Hornets enter the battle with a record of 15-8. Singer won 47-45 in their recent league battle against Starks (Starks, LA)
The Bears now own a 0-22 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland Baptist Christian for a 1A District 6 battle on Tuesday, February 4. Gueydan will meet a Bears squad coming off a 27-22 league win over Westminster Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA). The Bears record now stands at 3-11.
