February 3, 2025: St. Joseph, IL 61873 St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL), 60-21 in a league match.
With the victory, St. Joseph-Ogden upgrades its record to 9-15 on the year. The Spartans host Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL) to face the Timberwolves in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Timberwolves enter the match with a record of 20-5. Cissna Park won 39-35 in their recent non-league match against Tuscola (Tuscola, IL)
The Eagles now sport a 4-22 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pontiac for a Illini Prairie match on Thursday, February 6. Rantoul will face a Indians squad coming off a 40-39 league win over Monticello (Monticello, IL). The Indians record now stands at 12-15.
