Illinois High School Basketball - St. Joseph-Ogden thwarts Tolono Unity
February 6, 2025: Tolono, IL 61880 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) and the host Tolono Unity Rockets (Tolono, IL), observed St. Joseph-Ogden's basketball team knock off Tolono Unity by a score of 53-43.
The Spartans (10-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL). The Panthers come into the Illini Prairie challenge with a 4-25 record. In their last challenge, Paxton-Buckley-Loda was knocked off by Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL), 54-36, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Rockets encounter the Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) in a Illini Prairie challenge, on Monday, February 10. Tolono Unity will attempt to improve on its 13-15 season record. The Sages come into the challenge with a 17-10 record after their 45-15 league win over St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL).
