February 3, 2025: Jersey City, NJ 07305 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Snyder Tigers (Jersey City, NJ) and the visiting University Phoenix (Newark, NJ), observed Snyder's basketball team overwhelm University by a score of 64-23.
The Tigers (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against University Academy Charter (Jersey City, NJ). The Generals come into the Hudson County - National challenge with a 1-12 record. In their last challenge, University Academy Charter was routed by North Bergen (North Bergen, NJ), 45-15, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Phoenix encounter the Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ) in a Super Essex - American challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. University will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 53-30 non-league win over Newark Tech (Newark, NJ).
