Georgia High School Basketball - Sequoyah crushes Lassiter

February 3, 2026: Canton, GA 30115

The Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA), 54-33 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Chiefs now possess a 14-9 record. They play next when they host Sprayberry for a AAAAA Region 6 bout on Friday, February 6. Sequoyah will play a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 70-32 league win over Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 14-9.

With the loss, Lassiter falls to 11-12 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Woodstock (Woodstock, GA) to play the Wolverines in a AAAAA Region 6 bout on Friday, February 6.
