Michigan High School Basketball - Beal City holds off Lake City
February 4, 2022: Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Beal City Aggies (Mt. Pleasant, MI) and the visiting Lake City Trojans (Lake City, MI), saw Beal City's basketball squad hold off Lake City by a tally of 55-52.
With the victory, Beal City improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Aggies host Houghton Lake (Houghton Lake, MI) to confront the Bobcats in a Highland challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Houghton Lake lost 46-28 in their recent league challenge against Northern Michigan Christian (McBain, MI)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Roscommon Bucks (Roscommon, MI) in a Highland challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Lake City will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Bucks come into the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 71-41 league loss to McBain (McBain, MI).
