South Carolina High School Basketball - Calhoun County overwhelms Blackville-Hilda
February 4, 2022: Blackville, SC 29817 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC) and the host Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks (Blackville, SC), saw Calhoun County's basketball squad wallop Blackville-Hilda by a count of 91-45.
With the victory, Calhoun County upgrades its record to 17-1 on the campaign. The Saints host Denmark-Olar (Denmark, SC) to play the Vikings in a A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Denmark-Olar won 103-60 in their recent league challenge against Blackville-Hilda (Blackville, SC)
Next up, the Fighting Hawks play the Williston-Elko Blue Devils (Williston, SC) in a A Region 3 challenge, on Monday, February 7. Blackville-Hilda will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 1-18 record after their 66-55 league loss to Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC).
