The Central Rockets basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Cary-Grove Trojans to 22 in the Rockets league triumph on Friday.

The Rockets now sport a 24-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jacobs for a Fox Valley contest on Tuesday, February 8. Central will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 50-46 league win over Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-21.

The Trojans (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Gators enter the Fox Valley contest with a 14-12 record. In their last contest, Crystal Lake South was routed by Huntley (Huntley, IL), 48-46, in a league contest.
