Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Fort Mill Yellow Jackets (Fort Mill, SC), 52-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Clover upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Blue Eagles travel to Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a AAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, February 8. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 11-13. Boiling Springs lost 15-0 in their recent non-league bout against Greenville (Greenville, SC)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Gaffney Indians (Gaffney, SC) in a AAAAA Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Fort Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 47-41 league win over Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC).
