Maryland High School Basketball - Friendly tops Central
February 4, 2022: Fort Washington, MD 20744 Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD), 66-53 in a league bout.
With the victory, Friendly upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD) to play the Lions in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout on Monday, February 7. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Largo lost 42-40 in their recent league bout against Friendly (Fort Washington, MD)
Next up, the Falcons play the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout, on Monday, February 7. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 83-9 league win over Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD).
