Maryland High School Basketball - Potomac ripped by Central
January 27, 2022: Capitol Heights, MD 20743 The Central Falcons basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Potomac Wolverines to 30 in the Falcons league triumph on Thursday.
The Falcons now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Largo for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest on Friday, January 28. Central will battle a Lions team coming off a 46-41 league loss to Surrattsville (Clinton, MD). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.
The Wolverines (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD). The Yellowjackets enter the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Gwynn Park was routed by Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD), 52-29, in a league contest.
