The Valley Tigers (West Des Moines, IA) basketball knocked off the visiting Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA), 49-40 in Friday's non-league test.

The Tigers (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Marshalltown (Marshalltown, IA). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 1-16 record. In their last test, Marshalltown went down by Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA), 59-6, in a non-league test.
