California High School Basketball - Sequoia nips Menlo-Atherton
February 4, 2022: Atherton, CA 94027 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Sequoia Ravens (Redwood City, CA) and the host Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA), saw Sequoia's basketball squad hold off Menlo-Atherton by a count of 34-28.
With the victory, Sequoia upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Ravens travel to Burlingame (Burlingame, CA) to play the Panthers in a challenge on Wednesday, February 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Burlingame lost 31-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Notre Dame (Belmont, CA)
Next up, the Bears play the Capuchino Mustangs (San Bruno, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, February 7. Menlo-Atherton will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 33-25 league loss to Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA).
