Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME), 83-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Old Town upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) to play the Ponies in a B North bout on Monday, February 6. The Ponies come into the bout with a record of 11-4. Foxcroft Academy won 56-48 in their recent league bout against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME)

Next up, the Golden Bucks play the George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Bucksport will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 50-46 league win over Calais (Calais, ME).
