Maine High School Basketball - Old Town tops Caribou
December 10, 2022: Caribou, ME 04736 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME) and the host Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME), saw Old Town's basketball squad knock off Caribou by a tally of 60-50.
With the victory, Old Town improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME) to play the Wildcats in a B North challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Presque Isle lost 64-55 in their recent league challenge against Winslow (Winslow, ME)
Next up, the Vikings play the Houlton Shiretowners (Houlton, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Caribou will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Shiretowners come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 74-40 non-league loss to Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME).
