February 4, 2023: Cissna Park, IL 60924 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL) and the host Cissna Park Timberwolves (Cissna Park, IL), saw Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley's basketball squad wallop Cissna Park by a tally of 67-36.
With the victory, Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley improves its record to 16-9 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Eureka (Eureka, IL) to confront the Hornets in a Heart of Illinois challenge on Friday, February 10. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 19-5.
Next up, the Timberwolves confront the Tri-Point Chargers (Cullom, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Cissna Park will attempt to improve on its 4-24 season record.
