Oregon High School Basketball - Crane overwhelms Cove
February 4, 2023: Cove, OR 97824 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Crane Mustangs (Crane, OR) and the host Cove Leopards (Cove, OR), saw Crane's basketball squad wallop Cove by a tally of 63-40.
With the victory, Crane improves its record to 18-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Long Creek (Long Creek, OR) to confront the Mountaineers in a 1A High Desert challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 0-6.
Next up, the Leopards confront the Pine Eagle Spartans (Halfway, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon challenge, on Friday, February 10. Cove will attempt to improve on its 16-6 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 59-30 league loss to Imbler (Imbler, OR).
