Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield East can't hold off Hinsdale Central
February 4, 2023: Plainfield, IL 60585 The Plainfield East Bengals basketball team (Plainfield, IL), was nudged 70-65 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Hinsdale Central Red Devils (Hinsdale, IL)
The Red Devils now sport a 24-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prospect for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7. Hinsdale Central will battle a Knights team coming off a 55-49 league win over Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL). The Knights record now stands at 16-9.
The Bengals (12-14) will now prepare for their battle against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Cougars come into the SouthWest Prairie battle with a 13-15 record.
