The Redbirds now possess a 24-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Limestone for a Mid-Illini battle on Tuesday, February 7. Metamora will confront a Rockets team coming off a 66-61 non-league win over Urbana (Urbana, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 3-20.
The Irish (14-13) will now prepare for their battle against Champaign Central (Champaign, IL). The Maroons come into the Big Twelve battle with a 7-18 record. In their last battle, Champaign Central was overwhelmed by Centennial (Champaign, IL), 75-72, in a non-league battle.
