Minnesota High School Basketball - Sauk Centre nips Pelican Rapids
February 4, 2023: Sauk Centre, MN 56378 Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Pelican Rapids Vikings (Pelican Rapids, MN), 51-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Sauk Centre upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Mainstreeters host Benson (Benson, MN) to play the in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 9. The come into the bout with a record of 3-11.
Next up, the Vikings play the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Rebels (Glyndon, MN) in a AA Section 8 bout, on Thursday, February 9. Pelican Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 73-64 non-league loss to Osakis (Osakis, MN).
