February 4, 2023: Rapid City, SD 57701 Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD), 51-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sioux Valley upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Cossacks host Deuel (Clear Lake, SD) to play the Cardinals in a A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Deuel lost 52-40 in their recent non-league bout against Madison (Madison, SD)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Red Cloud Crusaders (Pine Ridge, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. More will attempt to upgrade on its 14-2 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 55-47 league loss to Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD).
