Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Kern Valley Broncs (Lake Isabella, CA) and the host Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA), saw Kern Valley's basketball squad hold off Washington Union by a tally of 47-45.

With the victory, Kern Valley improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Broncs host California City (California City, CA) to confront the Ravens in a High Desert challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Ravens come into the challenge with a record of 6-13. California City lost 75-31 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Union (Bishop, CA)
