February 4, 2024: Valatie, NY 12184 Fans at Sunday's league challenge between the Ichabod Crane Riders (Valatie, NY) and the visiting Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Indians (Ravena, NY), saw Ichabod Crane's basketball squad overcome Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk by a tally of 62-49.
With the victory, Ichabod Crane improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Riders travel to Catholic Central (Troy, NY) to confront the Crusaders in a Section 2 Colonial - Patriot challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 16-1. Catholic Central won 75-50 in their recent league challenge against Lansingburgh (Troy, NY)
Next up, the Indians confront the Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs (Cobleskill, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial - Patriot challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 66-54 non-league win over Coxsackie-Athens (Coxsackie, NY).
