Virginia High School Basketball - Pulaski County holds off Abingdon
February 4, 2025: Dublin, VA 24084 The Pulaski County Cougars basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Abingdon Falcons to 56 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now possess a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to Christiansburg for a River Ridge game on Friday, February 7. Pulaski County will confront a Blue Demons team coming off a 85-65 league loss to Salem (Salem, VA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 4-16.
With the loss, Abingdon falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Falcons host Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 18-2. Patrick Henry won 99-39 in their recent league game against Honaker (Honaker, VA)
