February 4, 2025: Belle Plaine, MN 56011 Southwest Christian Stars (Chaska, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Belle Plaine Tigers (Belle Plaine, MN), 75-62 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Southwest Christian upgrades its record to 9-7 on the year. The Stars travel to Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN) to face the Storm in a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. The Storm enter the match with a record of 7-12. Chanhassen lost 70-47 in their recent league match against Chaska (Chaska, MN)
The Tigers now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown for a AA Section 2 match on Thursday, February 6. Belle Plaine will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 73-45 league win over New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN). The Buccaneers record now stands at 11-9.
