Louisiana High School Basketball - Brother Martin holds off Edna Karr
February 4, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70131 The Brother Martin Crusaders basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Edna Karr Cougars to 55 in the Crusaders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now have a 10-16 record. They play next when they host Warren Easton for a 5A District 9 game on Friday, February 7. Brother Martin will confront a Fighting Eagles team coming off a 52-41 league loss to Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA). The Fighting Eagles record now stands at 17-29.
With the loss, Edna Karr falls to 17-19 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Jesuit (New Orleans, LA) to confront the Blue Jays in a 5A District 9 game on Friday, February 7. The Blue Jays go into the game with a record of 20-6. Jesuit lost 59-43 in their recent league game against Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA)
