February 3, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70119 In Monday's league test, the Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA) basketball squad trounced the host Warren Easton Fighting Eagles (New Orleans, LA), by a final score of 70-41.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Brother Martin Crusaders (New Orleans, LA) in a 5A District 9 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Edna Karr will attempt to upgrade on its 18-18 season record. The Crusaders come into the test with a 9-16 record after their 30-29 league loss to Holy Cross (New Orleans, LA).
The Fighting Eagles (17-28) will now prepare for their test against Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA). The Raiders come into the 5A District 9 test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Archbishop Rummel was overwhelmed by St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA), 50-28, in a league test.
