In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Edwardsville Tigers basketball team scored a close 45-41 triumph over the Collinsville Kahoks.

The Tigers (22-2) will now prepare for their contest against Belleville East (Belleville, IL). The Lancers go into the Southwestern contest with a 18-7 record. In their last contest, Belleville East nipped Cahokia (Cahokia, IL), 68-50, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Kahoks battle the East St. Louis Flyers (East St. Louis, IL) in a Southwestern contest, on Friday, February 7. Collinsville will attempt to better on its 13-12 season record.
