The East Tigers (Columbus, OH) basketball edged the visiting Mifflin Punchers (Columbus, OH), 55-51 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Whetstone for a Columbus City - North bout on Friday, February 7. East will play a Braves team coming off a 76-47 league win over Columbus International (Columbus, OH). The Braves record now stands at 3-15.

With the loss, Mifflin falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Punchers host Beechcroft (Columbus, OH) to play the Cougars in a Columbus City - North bout on Friday, February 7. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Beechcroft lost 49-42 in their recent non-league bout against Columbus Academy (Gahanna, OH)
