Texas High School Basketball - Gordon holds off Ranger
February 4, 2025: Gordon, TX 76453 The Gordon Longhorns basketball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Ranger Bulldogs to 0 in the Longhorns league triumph on Tuesday.
The Longhorns now possess a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Godley for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Gordon will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 37-25 league win over Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-23.
With the loss, Ranger falls to 2-17 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Strawn (Strawn, TX) to confront the Greyhounds in a 1A Region II District 13 game on Friday, February 7. The Greyhounds go into the game with a record of 7-11. Strawn lost 52-48 in their recent league game against Eula (Clyde, TX)
