February 4, 2025: Verden, OK 73092 Verden Tigers (Verden, OK) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Gracemont Lions (Gracemont, OK), 67-5 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Verden upgrades its record to 12-8 on the year. The Tigers host Alex (Alex, OK) to face the Longhorns in a Grady County match on Tuesday, February 11. The Longhorns enter the match with a record of 6-13.
The Lions now sport a 2-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Geary for a Washita Valley match on Friday, February 7. Gracemont will face a Bison squad coming off a 55-27 non-league loss to Verden (Verden, OK). The Bison record now stands at 10-11.
