California High School Basketball - Livermore bested by Monte Vista
February 4, 2025: Livermore, CA 94550 Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Livermore Cowboys (Livermore, CA), 50-36 in a league match.
With the victory, Monte Vista advances its record to 16-9 on the year. The Mustangs travel to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA) to face the Wolves in a East Bay match on Friday, February 7. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 18-7. San Ramon Valley won 76-55 in their recent league match against Dublin (Dublin, CA)
The Cowboys now own a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Granada for a East Bay match on Friday, February 7. Livermore will face a Matadors squad coming off a 79-37 league loss to De La Salle (Concord, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 7-18.
