Alabama High School Basketball - Wilcox Academy crushes Monroe Academy
February 4, 2025: Camden, AL 36726 The Wilcox Academy Wildcats (Camden, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Monroe Academy Volunteers (Monroeville, AL), 69-23 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Patrician Academy for a AISA A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, February 3. Wilcox Academy will play a Saints team coming off a 54-47 non-league win over Sparta Academy (Evergreen, AL). The Saints record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Monroe Academy falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Volunteers travel to Evangel Christian Academy (Montgomery, AL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Evangel Christian Academy won 54-19 in their recent non-league bout against Chambers Academy (LaFayette, AL)
