February 4, 2025: Texarkana, TX 75503 Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting North Lamar Panthers (Paris, TX), 65-52 in a league match.
With the victory, Pleasant Grove upgrades its record to 14-10 on the year. The Hawks travel to Paris (Paris, TX) to face the Wildcats in a 4A Region II District 14 match on Friday, February 7. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 21-6. Paris won 59-56 in their recent league match against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX)
The Panthers now sport a 21-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sulphur Springs for a 4A Region II District 14 match on Friday, February 7. North Lamar will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 57-34 league win over Bonham (Bonham, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 19-11.
