In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting South Hills Scorpions basketball team scored a good 54-44 triumph over the North Side Steers.

The Scorpions (8-20) will now prepare for their contest against Paschal (Fort Worth, TX). The Panthers go into the 5A Region I District 7 contest with a 24-7 record. In their last contest, Paschal topped Polytechnic (Fort Worth, TX), 80-36, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Steers confront the Trimble Tech Bulldogs (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 contest, on Friday, February 7. North Side will attempt to better on its 7-19 season record.
