February 4, 2025: Valdosta, GA 31632 Valwood Valiants (Valdosta, GA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Terrell Academy Eagles (Dawson, GA), 60-51 in a league match.
With the victory, Valwood advances its record to 11-10 on the year. The Valiants travel to Echols County (Statenville, GA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 6-16. Echols County lost 75-68 in their recent league match against Turner County (Ashburn, GA)
The Eagles now own a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southland Academy for a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. Terrell Academy will face a Raiders squad coming off a 43-42 league loss to Georgia Christian (Valdosta, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 11-11.
