February 4, 2025: Smackover, AR 71762 Centerpoint Knights (Amity, AR) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Smackover Buckaroos (Smackover, AR), 46-28 in a league match.
With the victory, Centerpoint upgrades its record to 17-3 on the year. The Knights host Prescott (Prescott, AR) to face the Curley Wolves in a 3A Region 7 match on Friday, February 7. The Curley Wolves enter the match with a record of 9-8. Prescott won 48-46 in their recent league match against Genoa Central (Texarkana, AR)
The Buckaroos now sport a 5-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harmony Grove for a 3A Region 7 match on Friday, February 7. Smackover will face a Hornets squad coming off a 59-16 league loss to Bismarck (Bismarck, AR). The Hornets record now stands at 0-18.
