The Goldsboro Cougars basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Princeton Bulldogs to 32 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 17-2 record. They play next when they host Spring Creek for a 2A Neuse game on Thursday, February 6. Goldsboro will confront a Gators team coming off a 55-36 league loss to Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC). The Gators record now stands at 6-10.

With the loss, Princeton falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC) to confront the Gators in a 2A Neuse game on Friday, February 7. The Gators go into the game with a record of 6-10.
