February 4, 2025: Maynardville, TN 37807 Scott Highlanders (Huntsville, TN) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Union County Patriots (Maynardville, TN), 49-37 in a league match.
With the victory, Scott advances its record to 17-6 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Midway (Kingston, TN) to meet the Green Wave in a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. The Green Wave enter the match with a record of 14-8. Midway won 55-48 in their recent non-league match against Wartburg Central (Wartburg, TN)
The Patriots now own a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cosby for a non-league match on Monday, February 10. Union County will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 57-36 league win over Hancock County (Sneedville, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 16-10.
