February 5, 2022: San Marcos, TX 78666 The San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX), 55-51 in Saturday's league test.
The Rattlers (25-8) will now prepare for their test against Akins (Austin, TX). The Eagles go into the 6A Region IV District 26 test with a 6-20 record. In their last test, Akins was tipped by Lake Travis (Austin, TX), 64-34, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 13-16 record. They play next when they host Hays for a 6A Region IV District 26 test on Tuesday, February 8. Bowie will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 65-63 league loss to Austin (Austin, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 13-19.
