California High School Basketball - Christopher tops Carmel

February 5, 2022: Gilroy, CA 95020

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) and the visiting Carmel Padres (Carmel, CA), saw Christopher's basketball squad knock off Carmel by a count of 50-41.

With the victory, Christopher upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Salinas (Salinas, CA) to play the Cowboys in a PCAL - Gabilan challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. Salinas won 47-42 in their recent league challenge against Pacific Grove (Pacific Grove, CA)

Next up, the Padres play the Salinas Cowboys (Salinas, CA) in a PCAL - Gabilan challenge, on Thursday, February 10. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record.
