The Saginaw Rough Riders basketball team (Saginaw, TX), dropped 72-53 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Wyatt Chaparrals (Fort Worth, TX)

The Chaparrals now possess a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southwest for a 5A Region I District 7 battle on Tuesday, February 8.

The Rough Riders (12-18) will now prepare for their battle against Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Region I District 7 battle with a 10-12 record. In their last battle, Trimble Tech beat South Hills (Fort Worth, TX), 91-31, in a league battle.
