Illinois High School Basketball - Kaneland nips Aurora Central Catholic
February 5, 2022: Maple Park, IL 60151 Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Aurora Central Catholic Chargers (Aurora, IL), 41-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Kaneland upgrades its record to 16-12 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Morris (Morris, IL) to play the Redskins in a Interstate 8 bout on Tuesday, February 8. The Redskins come into the bout with a record of 5-23. Morris lost 36-29 in their recent league bout against Rochelle (Rochelle, IL)
Next up, the Chargers play the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) in a Metro Suburban bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Aurora Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 15-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 10-19 record after their 49-39 league loss to St. Francis (Wheaton, IL).
