February 5, 2022: Kewanee, IL 61443 The Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Oregon Hawks (Oregon, IL), 45-41 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Boilermakers (11-16) will now prepare for their test against Hall (Spring Valley, IL). The Red Devils go into the Three Rivers - East test with a 10-16 record. In their last test, Hall was tipped by Orion (Orion, IL), 34-25, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 7-21 record. They play next when they host Serena for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 9. Oregon will encounter a Huskers squad coming off a 64-16 league win over Illinois Math & Science (Aurora, IL). The Huskers record now stands at 28-2.
