Minnesota High School Basketball - Wabasso holds off Central Minnesota Christian
February 5, 2024: Wabasso, MN 56293 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Wabasso Rabbits (Wabasso, MN) and the visiting Central Minnesota Christian Bluejays (Prinsburg, MN), saw Wabasso's basketball squad hold off Central Minnesota Christian by a tally of 80-73.
With the victory, Wabasso improves its record to 5-16 on the campaign. The Rabbits host Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN) to confront the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 16-5. Minnesota Valley Lutheran won 72-63 in their recent league challenge against St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN)
Next up, the Bluejays confront the Ortonville Trojans (Ortonville, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Central Minnesota Christian will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 74-55 non-league loss to Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (Tracy, MN).
