Tennessee High School Basketball - Livingston Academy overwhelms DeKalb County
February 5, 2024: Smithville, TN 37166 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Livingston Academy Wildcats (Livingston, TN) and the host DeKalb County Tigers (Smithville, TN), saw Livingston Academy's basketball squad wallop DeKalb County by a tally of 82-56.
With the victory, Livingston Academy improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to White County (Sparta, TN) to confront the Warriors in a 3A District 7 challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. White County lost 47-35 in their recent league challenge against Upperman (Baxter, TN)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Stone Memorial Panthers (Crossville, TN) in a 3A District 7 challenge, on Thursday, February 8. DeKalb County will attempt to improve on its 9-14 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 18-8 record after their 82-61 non-league win over Clarkrange (Clarkrange, TN).
