Virginia High School Basketball - Hanover tipped by Powhatan
February 5, 2024: Powhatan, VA 23139 The Powhatan Indians basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Hanover Hawks to 62 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.
The Indians now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Huguenot for a Dominion contest on Wednesday, February 7. Powhatan will meet a Falcons team coming off a 78-48 league loss to James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 7-12.
The Hawks (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Armstrong (Richmond, VA). The Wildcats enter the Capital contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Armstrong nudged Richmond City School of the Arts (Richmond, VA), 64-26, in a non-league contest.
