Michigan High School Basketball - Ithaca holds off Nouvel Catholic Central
February 5, 2024: Ithaca, MI 48847 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI) and the visiting Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers (Saginaw, MI), saw Ithaca's basketball squad hold off Nouvel Catholic Central by a tally of 43-41.
With the victory, Ithaca improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Hill-McCloy won 67-62 in their recent league challenge against Lakeville (Otisville, MI)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Carrollton Cavaliers (Carrollton, MI) in a Tri-Valley - Blue challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Nouvel Catholic Central will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 56-50 non-league win over Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI).
