Missouri High School Basketball - Kennett overwhelmed by Sikeston
February 5, 2024: Sikeston, MO 63801 The Sikeston Bulldogs basketball team scored 99 points and restricted the visiting Kennett Indians to 30 in the Bulldogs league victory on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 21-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a Southeast Missouri contest on Friday, February 9. Sikeston will battle a Tigers team coming off a 54-29 non-league loss to Eureka (Eureka, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 13-7.
The Indians (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Senath-Hornersville (Senath, MO). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Senath-Hornersville triumphed over South Pemiscot (Steele, MO), 63-60, in a league contest.
