Minnesota High School Basketball - Park Christian nips Mahnomen/Waubun
February 5, 2024: Moorhead, MN 56560 Park Christian Falcons (Moorhead, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds (Mahnomen, MN), 68-64 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Park Christian upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Falcons host Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] (Climax, MN) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-22. Polk County West [Climax/Fisher] lost 74-40 in their recent league bout against Fertile-Beltrami (Fertile, MN)
Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Red Lake County Central/Red Lake Falls Rebels (Oklee, MN) in a A Section 8 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Mahnomen/Waubun will attempt to upgrade on its 9-17 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 17-0 record after their 71-68 league win over Warren-Alvarado-Oslo (Warren, MN).
